Riverside Walks, Paddle Boarding and Ralaxing

Pershore - River, walk and Weir (10 minute drive): Drive through Pershore and over the bridge and there's a car park on your left. Walk up to see the weir. The car park is called Pershore Bridges and there's picnic tables.

Eckington Wharf Picnic Place - River  walks and weir (12 minute drive): Nafford weir is impressive and there's some lovely walks from here either towards Nafford Weir or towards Eckington Weir. There's some picnic tables and mooring. 3 great pubs nearby!

Twyning - The Fleet offers parking, picnic tables, river walks (20 minute drive): There's also The Fleet Inn for food and a beverage. Walk along the river to Tewkesbury and back if you have a spare few hours.

Hill Walking

You have 30 acres of the Estate to explore. Working with The Worcestershire Wildlife Trust we will be developing lakes, wetlands and orchards over the coming months to make this a wildlife haven!


Bowbrook Lodges is situated on the outskirts of Pershore in the heart of Worcestershire countryside yet only 3 miles from Pershore, 6 miles from Bredon Hill and The Cotswolds, 8 miles from Worcester, and 20 miles from Cheltenham. The Malvern Hills are 15 miles away and well worth a visit for keen walkers.

Villages nearby

Eckington Village: Cross the bridge over the river and park up immediately on your left. Just over the road you can walk along the river to Eckington. Or cross over the river and walk the meadow in the opposite direction to the weir, then cross the river at the weir and walk back by the pretty country lane. Lovely walks and you can finish in the pub in Eckington on both of them.

Overbury Village: The village of Overbury is a short drive away and is well worth a visit. Stunning Cotswold Stone Houses all managed exclusively by The Overbury Estate.

Stanton Cotswold Village: Simply stunning and there's a pub at the top of the escarpment with majestic views.


Broadway, Snowshill, and Winchcombe: Explore these famous Cotswold destinations, right on the doorstep.
